Martin Jol: I'm not quitting

24 September 2007 - 20:52

Martin Jol has moved to reject media reports that he will be quitting the club after struggling to take Tottenham out of the Premiership's bottom three.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Rumours of a crisis meeting emerged, but Martin Jol and Spurs' chairman Daniel Levy have both moved to reject that such a meeting happened.

"Everybody is committed to the cause and the cause is to get higher up in the league and make a success of the season," Jol told the club's official website.

"Doing this is dominating my thoughts at the moment, so, as you would imagine, I was a little bit surprised to hear that one newspaper was suggesting that I was on the verge of quitting my job today.

    "What a load of rubbish!"
