No offers for Miguel Veloso yet

Sporting Lisbon have revealed that they have yet to even receive a formal offer for star midfielder Miguel Veloso. The player is reportedly admired by Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

“We have never received a formal offer for Miguel Veloso from England,” Sporting chief Paulo Barboso told O Jogo.



“What the newspapers say is one thing, but there were no documents submitted.”



It is understood that Arsenal are also long term admirers of the Portugal international.
