Fraizer Campbell has commented that he is delighted to have grabbed a brace against Liverpool in the Carling Cup at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night to dump the Reds out of the competition.

He told Sky Sports: "Darren has been doing fantastically and Roman too. You've got to stake your claim and do well when you have a chance.



"That's what I've done tonight. But as a team we have struggled a little [before Harry Redknapp took over] and we've been grateful someone like Darren has been there.



"He's come in, told me I'll get my chance and to keep working hard in training. That's all you need sometimes, a quick confidence boost."
