Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could make another move for Udinese midfielder Gokhan Inler in the January transfer window.

The French coach tried his luck during the summer, but the player himself decided to stay at Udinese for at least another season.



However, Arsenal's coach is prepared to up their initial contract offer to bring in the holding midfielder, who Wenger sees as a long-term partner for Spaniard Cesc Fabregas.



Wenger will be offering £7 million for the player, and increase the contract offer to a reported £40,000 per week to ensure the player comes to England.
