Arsene Wenger has snapped back at the critics who questioned his decision not to replace Mathieu Flamini and Gilberto with a central defensive midfielder this summer.
Wenger quipped: âWe had no player we really wanted and for now we have no regrets.
âYou cannot explain Gael Clichyâs own goal here by the fact we havenât an experienced player in midfield. We were not, as a team, sharp enough to dictate the pace and be dominant in the fight.â
