Cesc Fabregas has revealed he is very honoured to be named the new Arsenal captain, and has insisted yet again that he is happy at the Emirates. Fabregas' Gunners side battled to a 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
"If you look at the list of the people who have done it, it is frightening, but I never hold back in football and I have taken it as a personal challenge," Fabregas told The People.
"If I have to talk with Henry to ask for advice I will. He did a great job and I hope I can be at that level when they look back at the job I have done.
"To be captain of Arsenal is not in the reach of any player.
"But I am not going to change my character on the pitch."
