WBA in for Carlos Vela?

WBA in for Carlos Vela?

07 December 2008 - 15:49

Premiership side West Bromwich Albion are apparently ready to make a loan move for Mexico international striker Carlos Vela. The forward has found his opportunities limited at Arsenal so far this year.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Arsene Wenger has given the Mexican plenty of time in the Carling Cup, but may consider allowing the player to join another Premiership club on loan to experience more top flight football.

The deal could even include a financial bonus for the Gunners, believed to be 1 million GBP for six months.

Vela is currently down the pecking order as even Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner is considered ahead of him.
