Bruce won't join Sunderland

Wigan boss Steve Bruce has completely ruled out a move away from the Latics to Sunderland, insisting he has no interest in leaving the JJB Stadium just yet.

Since Roy Keane's departure, there had been suggestions that Bruce would be brought in as his successor at the Stadium of Light.



However, Bruce said: “Let's nip this straight in the bud. It's a total non-starter.



“I'm very happy at Wigan and if you cut me open I'd be black and white to the core!”
