Adams wants to keep Kranjcar

07 December 2008 - 16:26

Portsmouth boss Tony Adams is desperate to keep Croatia international Niko Kranjcar at the club; despite the interest in Tottenham and Harry Redknapp in the player.

  • Chelsea expected to sell striker after loan deal
  • Arsenal defender misses training ahead of Man Utd game

  • Kranjcar is valued by Portsmouth in the region of 10 million GBP, and the club are keen to hang on to the player.

Tony Adams, too, has indicated that he feels the player is a special talent that has a future at Portsmouth: "He's a good player, I love watching him, working with him - he's a fantastic footballer.

"I thought he really worked. He came deep a little bit in search of the ball.

"When we did get it into him he was exceptional."
