Pavel Pogrebnyak could well be a target for Bolton in the January transfer window. It is understood that the Zenit St. Petersburg forward could be allowed to leave the club for a fee in the region of 5 million GBP.
There has been no word as yet from Bolton, but it is understood that Gary Megson is desperate to find a suitable partner for Johan Elmander at the Reebok.
"Pavel's agent Oleg Artemov informed us about possible Pogrebnyak moves. We will consider them," Mitrofanov told Sport Express.
"We have an offer from Bolton, but a permanent deal is more interesting for both Zenit and Pogrebnyak."
