The new signing, Brad Friedel, has been in impressive form. The American goal keeper has something in his mind about the Saturday evening clash against Blackburn, it is about a tall striker - Roque Santa Cruz. Friedel knows Cruz and his striking abilities from their time in Blackburn.
"He's a tremendous player and a great guy as well. From day one, when he went into Blackburn's changing room, he was friendly with everybody." said Friedel.
Blackburn signed Santa Cruz for a mere £3m which turned out to be one of the best signings by any Premier League club in the recent times.
