Terry eyes Hiddink long term

Chelsea skipper John Terry is hoping that new boss Guus Hiddink is going to stay at the club for the long term. The Dutchman has a contract until the end of the season at Stamford Bridge.

  • "I like the fact that Guus Hiddink has stayed loyal to the Russian team," Terry is quoted as saying in various British newspapers.

"He's taken them a long way in a short space of time and I admire his loyalty. We've got six months to turn things round and if we do he'll probably get offered the full-time job.

"It's up to us to put in the performances and get the results for him, and hopefully something can be done in the summer."
