Everton boss David Moyes has apparently turned his attentions to Belgian defender Anthony Vanden Borre after a recommendation from his talented midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
The rights to the player are owned by Genoa, who purchased the Belgium international from Fiorentina only last summer.
However, an impressive year at Genoa has seen Vanden Borre's value increase, and now Everton are ready to make a summer move for the player.
David Moyes has reportedly been given a transfer kitty of close to £17 million this summer.
