Ousted Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has emerged as a strong favorite to take the Benfica job at the end of the season. Current coach Quique Flores is expected to leave the club in the summer.

Scolari has been resting in Portugal since being axed by Chelsea, and is reportedly weighing up his options elsewhere.



It had been rumoured that Brazilian giants Palmeiras were also interested in the former Portugal international coach's signature.
