Yobo commits future to Everton

Everton centre-back Joseph Yobo agreed to a new five-year contract with Everton putting an end to the transfer speculation revolving around him.

  • A few weeks ago, Yobo was reportedly unsettled at the club and was keen to sign for Arsenal. The Nigerian captian has committed his future to Everton and has finally signed the five-year deal which will see him with the Toffees' until the end of 2014.



    Everton boss, David Moyes, said that he is delighted with Yobo and his commitment to the club. Yobo is likely to start the FA Cup final against Chelsea next Saturday replacing the injured Jagielka.
