Peter Niemeyer to Fulham?

Peter Niemeyer to Fulham?

24 May 2009 - 06:40

Bargain hunting Fulham could be set to make an offer for Werder Bremen's defensive midfielder Peter Niemeyer at the end of the season, according to reports.

  • Chelsea suffer big injury blow ahead of Everton game
  • Enzo Fernandez refuses to rule out Chelsea exit
  • The Werder Bremen man has been a bit-part player at the German side, but Fulham boss Roy Hodgson has had scouts monitoring his progress for over 6 months and has been impressed with what he has seen.

The Cottagers are ready to offer £2 million to bring the former German under-21 international to London.

Niemeyer spent his formative years in Holland, playing five years at FC Twente.
