Marouane Chamakh to Arsenal

Marouane Chamakh to Arsenal

19 June 2009 - 10:56

Marouane Chamakh has emerged as the hot favorite to replace Emmanuel Adebayor at Arsenal, should the Togo international striker quit the club and head to AC Milan, as expected.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • It is understood that Adebayor is keen to quit the Emirates and move to Italy, and with AC Milan desperate to find a replacement for Kaka, Adebayor has emerged as the best solution.

Now Arsenal have turned their attentions to Bordeaux frontman Marouane Chamakh in a deal believed to be in the region of £16 million.

Marouane Chamakh last year impressed in Ligue 1 as Bordeaux romped to the title.
