West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola has admitted he is an admirer of Chilean winger Luis Jimenez, and a deal could well be imminent for the player. The Hammers are ready to sign the Inter backup player on loan.

Jimenez is a talented winger who has been unable to break into the first-team under Jose Mourinho due to the depth of his first-team squad.



Zola said of the player: "He is one of those lads who play the way I like. It's not easy to sign non-EU players in England but I think these problems can be solved."
