Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce believes he knows a ready-made replacement for Roque Santa Cruz, who quit Rovers for a move to Man City earlier in the week. Blackburn would be willing to spend £13 million to land Peter Crouch.

Blackburn are ready to give the England international an opportunity, and Sam Allardyce is a known admirer of the frontman.



A figure of around £13 million as been suggested for the Portsmouth ace.
