Burnley are reportedly ready to make an ambitious effort to lure Michael Owen to the Clarets this summer. According to reports from various websites, Owen is one of the top targets for Burnley boss Owen Coyle.
Owen's contract with current club Newcastle is set to expire on July 1st, and Hull City are among the clubs interested in landing the injury prone striker.
However, Burnley are reportedly one of the sides ready to offer a whopping £90,000 per week to bring Owen to the club on a one year deal, and an effort to sign the frontman will begin on Monday morning.
