Giovinco again linked with Arsenal

27 June 2009 - 15:03

Sebastian Giovinco has again been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer. Arsene Wenger has long been a fan of the Italian under-21 midfielder, and may make an offer for the player this summer.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Giovinco last week said that he was not happy with life at Juventus as he was being underused.

Giovinco is valued at around £5 million by his club.

"I know my values and what I can give. I know my qualities, but maybe Juventus don't understand this," Giovinco told Il Corriere Dello Sport.

"I am not asking for a starting role. I just want to be considered. I want to play for my place on a par with everyone else. I don't like being in a side where you understand that you come second. I cannot accept this."
