Manchester City's summer of transfer activity looks set to continue, as reports from Germany indicated that Mark Hughes has told his board that he wishes to make Germany international Bastian Schweinsteiger his next ambitious transfer target for the Citizens.
Schweinsteiger is one of Germany's best talents, and proved during Euro 2008 he is one of the best midfielders in the world. At Bayern Munich, Schweinsteiger has struggled to reap the domestic rewards he so desperately craves and could now look for a move abroad.
Man City boss Mark Hughes is rumoured to be set to launch his £19 million move for the German winger in August as he looks to build a new look side for 2009/2010.
