Kaizer Chiefs' winger Siphiwe Tshabalala has emerged as a shock target for Bolton Wanderers. It is understood the Trotters will be ready to pay up to £2 million to land the South Africa international.
Tshabalala, the 24 year old left winger, has plenty of experience at international level and is expected to be an important part of the South Africa team in the World Cup in 2010 in his homeland.
Several other clubs in Europe are monitoring the player, including Genoa and Sunderland.
