Inter Milan to move for Sneijder

Inter Milan to move for Sneijder

31 July 2009 - 02:44

The agent of Wesley Sneijder has called on Inter Milan to make a move for his client, as they look to find a replacement after losing out on the signature for Aleksander Hleb who joined VfB Stuttgart. Sneijder can leave Real Madrid for a figure in the region of £12 million.

  • Arsenal make surprise decision on Viktor Gyokeres
  • Arsenal to battle Napoli to sign Alexsandro Ribeiro?

  • “The Galacticos have built a team which can compete in all the competitions, but you need good players to rotate,” said agent Soren Lerby.

“So Wesley doesn’t feel out of place because he wants to give everything for them. At the same time a big player needs to play regularly and that may not happen at the Bernabeu.

“I know Inter missed out on Aleksander Hleb and I believe Jose Mourinho could do with a quality player in that position.

“If Wesley was to leave Spain he would only do it for one of the biggest clubs in Europe, and the Nerazzurri are one of those…”
