Acquafresca happy at Atalanta

Acquafresca happy at Atalanta

04 November 2009 - 03:22

Atalanta's on-loan striker Robert Acquafresca will not be returning to Genoa anytime soon, according to the player's agent. The striker has had a rich vein of form of late.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Pablo Fabbri quipped: “I can only tell you that it depends on Atalanta and the player.

“I am aware of the situation and it makes me happy that Preziosi wants him again. But Acquafresca has a deal with Atalanta. It's unexpected for me, seeing as Genoa have a squad of the highest order.

“Right now, Robert isn't playing because of injury. It's all frozen. We cannot evaluate the situation until he is fit to play again. If he doesn't play on his return, then we will all sit down around a table and speak again."
