Sven-Goran Eriksson has sensationally revealed that Sol Campbell quit his role as Notts County's player manager half way through a training session, and understood the centre back's huge frustrations.
The Swede revealed: "There was lots of enthusiasm at first but he didn't want to play.
"I felt awful. He always behaved very well and took care of the younger players but left in the middle of a training session.
"I planned to meet him after the session but he didn't come. He still has not phoned me about it."
