Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has called on his young Gunners side to go top of the league with a victory over Bolton on Wednesday at the Emirates. The Gunners won 2-0 against Bolton yesterday evening.

  • Wenger said: "Our motivation will be 100 per cent and we know that we are in a quite interesting position, that nobody expected us to be. We have the belief. When the season started, we were not all convinced in our squad maybe that we could be where we are today. Now that we are there, we want to have a go. We have to be completely focused.

“Of course it will mean something to the players to go top on Wednesday. But we know there is a long way to go. We are a big club and when you are a big club the most difficult is like last year when in October or November you know that you don’t fight for the Championship. Now we have a chance to fight for it, so let’s have a go.”
