Manchester United are reportedly ready to make an offer for Netherlands international midfielder Rafael van der Vaart this summer, according to reports.
It is believed that Sir Alex Ferguson has been looking for a replacement for Ronaldo for some time and van der Vaart has emerged as the best candidate to fill the void.
At approximately 11 million GBP, van der Vaart will be a cut price acquisition for the Reds.
It is understood that van der Vaart is eager to leave his current club for a move abroad.
