Roy Hodgson looks set to spend some of the 10 million GBP he received from Man Utd for Chris Smalling on Swedish international centre back Mattias Bjarsmyr, currently playing at Panathinaikos.

  • Scouts from Fulham have been watching Mattias Bjarsmyr for some time, and with the Cottagers set to have a huge transfer kitty this summer after their UEFA Cup exploits, the defender has emerged as a target for the club.



    It is understood that after one year in Greece, Bjarsmyr is ready to quit his current club and move to another country.



    Bjarsmyr is valued in the reigon of 3 million GBP.
