Yakubu on West Ham's list

West Ham boss Avram Grant has put Yakubu at the top of his transfer targets list this summer, according to reports this Sunday morning. It is understood the Hammers will offer a figure around 5 million GBP for the player.

Yakubu has found opportunities a little limited at Goodison Park since joining from Middlesbrough, and with the likes of James Vaughan coming through, Yakubu is wary that his chances are to be even more limited.



West Ham are looking for a new partner for Diamanti next year, and Yakubu has emerged as one of the favorites for the role.
