Xavi asks Arsenal star to move

Spain midfielder Xavi has told his international team mate Cesc Fabregas to move to the club this summer. Barcelona had their first offer for the Arsenal midfielder rejected.

Xavi would love to play with Fabregas in the Barcelona midfield, and said of a potential move: "I would like him to come, and I have told him so. I have no doubt that Cesc would triumph at Barcelona."



Barcelona are ready to up their offer in order to persuade the Gunners to sell their prized asset.
