Torres to be offered Liverpool deal

Liverpool are set to offer Fernando Torres a bumper pay increase in order to stave off the interest from Premiership rivals Chelsea. It is understood Torres will be offered a one year extension and a huge salary increase.

If the report is to be believed, Liverpool will reward Torres with a new 130,000 GBP per week deal to stay with the club.



Chelsea have been linked with the Spain international with a fee of around 55 million GBP mentioned for the striker.



When Torres returns from the World Cup, the Spaniard will consider his future and decide whether to put pen to paper on a new deal.
