Jermaine Jenas could be heading for the White Hart Lane exit door this summer. It is understood that Newcastle will attempt to bring Jenas back to St James Park in a 6 million deal.

Newcastle are already rebuilding for their return to the Premiership after promotion at the first time of asking; and Jenas is high on their list of targets.



Stoke City are also believed to be interested in the England international, but have yet to make an offer for the player.



Jenas has grown frustrated with his lack of first-team opportunity at Tottenham of late.
