Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has admitted that he could still let Diego Forlan leave the club. Tottenham are one of the clubs interested in the Uruguay international.
Cerezo said: "To my knowledge there's been no bid for (Sergio) Aguero or (Diego) Forlan, I cannot say if it I would sell for â¬25 million because we have not heard the offer. The negotiations would be normal," Cerezo was quoted as saying by AS before adding that the club's hierarchy have met to discuss possible signings.
"There will be a few signings. At the end of the season the technical secretary and the coach met with us to find the positions we need to strengthen."
