Wolverhampton Wanderers have been monitoring creative midfielder Damian Diaz of Boca Juniors. Mick McCarthy is preparing a new look squad after guaranteeing top flight status for 2011-2012.
Diaz spent last season at Argentine minnows Colon Santa Fe, where he impressed with some impressive performances.
Diaz is not part of the Boca Juniors coaches' plan for next year, and may be allowed to leave if an offer in the region of £750,000 is made.
