Arsenal are considering a transfer swoop for Auxerre striker Yaya Sanogo. The player is one of the hottest properties in France and several European giants have been monitoring the youngster.

Arsenal scouts have been sent to watch Sanogo in numerous games and Arsene Wenger has had a dossier prepared on the forward.



His form in the Auxerre reserve teams and French international youth sides has been notably impressive, and Wenger has reportedly decided to swoop for the player early and then allow him to return to Auxerre on loan for the 2011-12 season for first-team experience.
