Sunderland target Peter Crouch has would prefer to stay at White Hart Lane next season, despite reports linking the forward with a move to the Stadium of Light.

A report circulated last week linking the England international frontman with a £6.5 million move to the Black Cats, but the striker himself has moved quickly to rule out all talk of a move away from Tottenham.



Harry Redknapp had apparently told Crouch that he was free to leave the club if the right offer was made for his services.
