Blackburn want Roger Johnson

13 June 2011 - 04:41

Blackburn Rovers are also considering a move for Birmingham's want away centre back Roger Johnson. Blackburn are set to sell Phil Jones to Man Utd and believe Roger Johnson would be a suitable replacement.

  • Chelsea preparing opening bid for French keeper
  • Zadok Yohanna joins Brighton after Chelsea snub
  • Johnson is valued in the region of about 10m GBP, and would be about half of the total revenue from the Phil Jones squad.

Johnson is keen to stay in the Premiership as he chases international honours.

The departure of Alex McLeish at Birmingham has also unsettled the centre back who may be quitting the club as soon as next week.
