Vicenzo Montella has agreed to sign for Serie A minnows Catania, penning a 2 year contract. The former Roma boss suggested that signing for Catania was an important step in his career and hoped that he could guide his new club into Europe.
A statement on the Catnia website read: "Calcio Catania SpA, informs it has entrusted the first team's coaching management to Vincenzo Montella, under a two-year contract. Montella will be aided by deput coach Daniele Russo, goalkeeping coach Marco Onorati and athletics coach Giacomo Tafuro (along with deputy Emanuele Marra).The coaching staff also includes rehab specialists Giuseppe Colombino and Antonio Torrisi."
