Blaise Matuidi could find himself at Newcastle next season, after Pierre Frelot; the agent of Matuidi, insisted that a move to St James Park was an option for the young midfielder.
Frelot said: âAny player in France would love to come to Newcastle â they are an absolutely fantastic club.
Sylvain Marveux, Yohan Cabaye and Hatem Ben Arfa have already completed deals and moved to Newcastle; but it seems as if the deals for French players will not just stop there.
âAll the French lads who go to Newcastle are really enthusiastic about the club and the football public in the North East too.
âNewcastle has a place in the hearts of French football. Great players like Laurent Robert and David Ginola have played there and enjoyed it and the supporters loved them too.
âOf course any French player would be interested in Newcastle.â
