Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri admits he would one day like to coach the national team of England or Spain. He has enjoyed a good start to the season with the Turin giants.
He told www.gazzetta.it that he would like to work with a national side. After winning everything I would like to finish my career with a national team. I have worked in Spain and England where there are big teams and big players."
He added: "And I often ask myself why their national teams have not won for so long. That would be a good bet!"
Ranieri admitted he was baffled by former club Chelsea's decision to part company with his successor Jose Mourinho.
"Yes," said Ranieri when asked if he was surprised. "It's not (Roman) Abramovich's style. "But Chelsea are still growing.
"I remember Abramovich telling me the team should be able to run itself in a few years. Chelsea, even with the big salaries it offers, is a long way from reaching that goal.
"Abramovich wants to win the Champions League at all costs but maybe he is starting to ask himself questions."
