Bolton boss Owen Coyle has admitted that he needs to find a new striker to replace Johan Elmander, who left the club at the end of last season, and Nacho Novo - the former Rangers striker - has emerged as a potential target for the club.
Novo currently plays back in his homeland Spain for Sporting Gijon, but the club are willing to let the player leave for 1.5m GBP.
The 32 year old struggled in his first year back in Spain, scoring only 4 goals in 30 league games.
