Derby, Ipswich want Marlet

Derby County and Ipswich Town are both considering signing 34 year old Steve Marlet. The ex-Fulham striker is currently playing for Lorient and most recently Wolfsburg. A trial is being considered for the Frenchman.

While he is currently on trial at Ipswich - teaming up with old Fulham pal Sylvain Legwinski - it is believed Derby will offer him a week to prove himself at Pride Park and one last chance to try his luck in the Premiership.
