Arsenal make final offer for Chelsea star Alex

Chelsea insiders have revealed that Arsenal are chasing Brazilian defender Alex, and have made their final offer to bring the player to the Emirates.

The offer is believed to be in the region of 6-7m GBP; but Chelsea are hoping to stop the Brazilian from leaving Stamford Bridge for a Premier League rival.

Juventus had already agreed a fee with Chelsea for the signing of Alex, but Arsenal have already matched that offer.

It is believed that Alex would like to stay in the Premier League.
