Arsenal pay £2.3m Merida
Arsenal have been ruled by a Spanish court to pay out compensation after the signing of Fran Merida from Barcelona. The agent of the Arsenal youngster says theyâre not about to accept a Spanish court ruling demanding the teen pays Barcelona £2.3 million for leaving last summer.
âWe are not in agreement with this ruling, so we will continue fighting until the end, if it is necessary. This game is not over,â warned Joseba Diaz.
Merida is regarded as one of the hottest prospects at the Emirates and impressed in the recent U-17 World Cup.
