Henry: Back with a Bang
Henry: Back with a Bang
A "pure class" Thierry Henry made a truimphant comeback to Arsenal with his trademark angled finish into the bottom corner of Lonergan's far post. The 34-year old is all set to write a new chapter in his legendary Arsenal story.
The Frenchman came on as a late substitute and had seen little of the ball before he guided the through ball from Song into the back of the net. It took only ten minutes for the veteran to read the game and run into the space left by the Leeds backline through his favourite left wing.
Alex Song who has taken up the role of a playmaker in Arsenal played a killer ball into the feet of the Frenchman who controlled it with the inside of his right foot before tapping it to the bottom corner of the far post.
Henry's goal takes Arsenal to the fourth round tie of FA Cup against Aston Villa.
