Tadanari Lee set for Southampton move
Sanfrecce Hiroshima striker Tadanari Lee will today complete a 1.2m GBP transfer to Championship leaders Southampton after an FA appeal allowed the transfer of the Japanese international to be completed.
Lee shot to fame during the Asian Cup last year, after scoring the winning goal against Australia in the final. Since then the player has enjoyed fame in Japan, and will now make a dream move to England.
"He won't be available for this weekend but hopefully we will strive to get him ready for the Leicester game," Southampton manager Neil Adkins said.
"It is really pleasing, he is now over in Japan and will have to go through the red tape process."
