Lasse Vigen Christensen reveals Arsenal interest

New Fulham signing Lasse Vigen Christensen has revealed that Arsenal were amongst the clubs all vying for his coveted signature in the January transfer window. Christensen joined Fulham in January for a fee believed to be in the region of 500k.

“Arsenal were interested in me a couple of years ago but that would have been too early for me I think,” Christensen said.


“I’ve had a good two years in Denmark since then where I’ve grown a little bit more and now I’m ready for the challenges that come with moving out and being on my own in another country.


“I think it was good for me that I waited until the right time and then came to Fulham this winter.


“It has always been my ambition and also my dream to come here and play in the Premier League.”
