Andy Carroll enjoys that winning feeling
Liverpool striker Andy Carroll is enjoying his new found rich vein of form for the Reds, after his winning goal secured a 2-1 victory over city rivals Everton in the FA Cup semi final yesterday, securing his club's route to Wembley for the Final.
Andy Carroll has taken huge flak from supporters all across England this season, as many view his 35 million purchase one of the biggest transfer flops of all time.
However, two goals from the striker in two games have turned around their recent poor fortune.
The striker is happy to be back amongst the goals, and is just enjoying himself: "It's the best feeling ever. We worked hard and getting the goal right there at the end was great. I had a few chances and should have probably scored earlier.
"But I kept at it and it was a great ball in by Craig, and I just had to score with that one and I did. It's a great feeling. I've had some criticism but I've just kept on going. I get the winner here and it's a great feeling. I believe in myself every day."
