Edinson Cavani asks family to 'keep Mum' on transfer speculation
Uruguayan forward Edinson Cavani has politely asked his family to refrain from talking to the press about matters regarding a possible transfer this summer. Cavani has been persistently linked with a whole host of high profile teams, including the likes of Chelsea, Man City, PSG and Real Madrid.
The Napoli forward has now been forced to go public on talk of a move away from Italy, particularly due to comments from some of his family.
"This is a good opportunity to tell the world that, when my family speaks, that isn't Edinson Cavani speaking," Cavani told Marca.
"I've asked my family thousands of times to please not talk anymore, because it harms me. I belong to Napoli and everything depends on that club. If at some point there is another option, we'll see.
"What I want to do is sit down face-to-face with the president and decide my future together."
